Applications anticipated to open September 2025.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Round 2<\/strong>&nbsp;was open to any renewable technology type that can support Victoria\u2019s net-zero emissions by 2045 target.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Round 1&nbsp;<\/strong>was dedicated to offshore wind.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"heading-2\">Round 3<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Industrial electrification with a focus on food and beverage processing and manufacturing sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Round 3 will support industrial electrification in Victoria, with a specific focus on the food and beverage processing and manufacturing sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Round 3 was announced on 25 June 2025 and the program design elements are currently being finalised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications Guidelines, including eligibility and assessment criteria, are anticipated to be released in August 2025, with applications expected to open in September 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For further details on timing, please see the indicative timeline below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Indicative timing<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Applications guidelines expected to be released in August 2025<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Industry consultation August to September 2025<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applications anticipated to open September 2025<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applications anticipated to close November 2025<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Funding<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Under Round 3, a total funding pool of $10 million will be available. Up to $2 million available per site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Register your interest<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Please send an email to: <a href=\"mailto:energy.innovation@deeca.vic.gov.au\">energy.innovation@deeca.vic.gov.au<\/a> with the subject line&nbsp;Energy Innovation Fund Round 3 Registration of Interest&nbsp;to receive further information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"heading-3\">Round 2<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Technology neutral<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Round 2 was open to any renewable technology type that could support Victoria&#8217;s net-zero emissions by 2045 target and met the eligibility criteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Funded projects<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A total of $26.3 million was provided to support the below projects.
