NG has experience in implementing metering, monitoring and information management systems, and has written Industry Guides for government on how to establish such systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color\" id=\"h-purpose\">Purpose<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>To encourage manufacturing companies, including SMEs, to invest in energy efficient equipment or technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color\" id=\"h-key-eligibility-criteria\">Key eligibility criteria<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The applicant must be a Singapore-registered owner or operator of an existing or proposed industrial facility that is or will be sited in Singapore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color\" id=\"h-technologies-supported\">Technologies supported<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The proposed energy efficiency project must meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The project must involve installation and use of energy efficient equipment or technologies with a proven track record of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/northmoregordon.com\/glossary\/energy-savings\/\">energy savings<\/a> Electricity or gas savings or both.&nbsp;in an industrial facility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The project must result in measurable and verifiable energy savings (see requirements on measurement and verification below).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The project must not have commenced before the application is approved.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The project shall be completed within 36 months from the approval of grant.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Projects that reduce cost, but do not demonstrate measurable and verifiable energy savings are not eligible.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color\" id=\"h-funding-amount\">Funding amount<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Up to 50% of qualifying costs, capped at<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>$250,000 per energy-intensive facility (i.e. consuming more than 54TJ of energy annually and registrable under the Energy Conservation Act); and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>$125,000 for other facilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color\" id=\"h-project-scope\">Project Scope<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The EMIS implemented should cover all major energy consuming systems in the facility.
