{"id":19188,"date":"2020-12-01T08:18:00","date_gmt":"2020-12-01T08:18:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/northmoregordon.com\/?page_id=19188"},"modified":"2024-08-05T05:44:12","modified_gmt":"2024-08-05T05:44:12","slug":"singapore-e2f-energy-assessment","status":"publish","type":"grants","link":"https:\/\/northmoregordon.com\/grants-and-programs\/singapore-e2f-energy-assessment\/","title":{"rendered":"E2F &#8211; Energy Assessment of existing facilities"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-purpose-is-to-encourage-companies-in-the-industrial-sector-to-carry-out-energy-assessments-for-their-existing-facilities-to-identify-potential-areas-for-energy-efficiency-improvement\">The purpose is to encourage companies in the industrial sector to carry out energy assessments for their existing facilities to identify potential areas for energy efficiency improvement.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-ng-is-an-accredited-esco-that-can-assist-with-this-grant\">NG is an Accredited ESCO that can assist with this grant.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-purpose\">Purpose<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Encourages companies in the industrial sector* to carry out energy assessments for their existing facilities to identify potential areas for energy efficiency improvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-eligibility-criteria\">Eligibility criteria<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The owner or operator of the manufacturing facility must be registered in Singapore.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The industrial facility for which the energy assessment is being carried out must be located in Singapore.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Energy audits of relevant business activities of registered corporations under the Energy Conservation Act are not eligible for application from 1 Jan 2020.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The capabilities of the selected Consultants** should be thoroughly assessed to ensure that they match the needs and requirements of your facility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Companies must have conducted a preliminary energy assessment at the time of application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The detailed energy assessment must not have commenced at the time of application. The company must not have signed a contract with the Consultant for the detailed energy assessment at the time of application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The detailed energy assessment should cover the whole plant or facility. Manufacturing equipment and processes may be excluded from the assessment. For large facilities, a partial assessment covering a complete system or part of the facility may be considered. Besides energy assessments, process plants can also carry out long-term monitoring of individual system components and overall systems to identify efficiency degradation. This is known as Energy Performance Monitoring. Such projects are also eligible for funding under E2F.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Appointed Consultant can either be:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a) an external company, foreign or local, and accredited under the Energy Services Company (ESCO) Accreditation Scheme; or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>b) qualified internal assessment teams with good track record in carrying out energy assessments of a comparable scale and scope.
